We are constantly updating and adding features to our software. Some additions can be immediately seen while others are internal changes.
Departure now allows a diver to add decompression time to to a particular stop. This can be used to increase the time at a gas switch depth, or to modify the ascent curve to times you prefer. The decompression gas options have also been upgraded as well as the rebreather options.
Departure has added several new features as well as well as updating the algorithm. Departure allows for a bottom gas or back gas break to be inserted at gas switch depths as well as picking a minimum time to spend at the gas switch depths. And for altitude divers, a period of nitrox or oxygen breathing has been added upon arrival at altitude to assist with equalizing the body upon arrival at altitude. There is also a new condensed table that may be printed.

Departure now has a sliding scale to allow a diver to fine tune the decompression or ascent model the diver desires.
We have added Deep Stop Credits to the Mixed Gas version of Departure. While Departure takes a different approach to deep stops than either the VPM or RGBM model and in general requires slightly deeper stops and slightly longer times at the middle and shallower decompression depths, the diver can now get credit for deep stops. It should be noted that just like other models, this method is untested, but it is there for divers that want to surface sooner like other programs and models allow.
Departure now has a "clean up dive" program. This lets a diver do a short dive to help wash out potential micronuclei before a longer deep dive. Nitrox breathing is used after surfacing to help accomplish this.
We recently made changes to the algorithms dealing with helium which shortens the decompression times associated with deep stops.
We have added a deco gas calculator, an option to increase the first deco stop, and have made the autorun function more efficient.
We have added another gas blending program. This program will assist a diver in fine tuning a trimix fill. The diver can use this program after filling with helium and oxygen and then analyzing the blend. The program will then tell the diver how much air to add to the cylinder.
We now allow a diver to truly customize the No-Stop Time Limits desired.
Departure's total run time now displays to the tenth of a minute and we just added the ability to constantly calculate the best mix or to only calculate when desired.
The nitrox/air version of Departure now allows repetitive dives to be performed after shorter surface intervals.
Departure's screen not only shows the Actual Bottom Time (time on the bottom plus descent time), but also the time on the actual time on the bottom.
We have increased the depth range of the Air/Nitrox version of Departure, have increased the altitude range of Departure, and now allow for a slower ascent rate.
