The software is downloaded in a self-extracting zip file. Once the software is downloaded, find the file it was saved in and click on the zipped file. The file will now unzip. Now find where the this file unzipped, open it and click on Setup. Installation will now start.
If you have difficulty downloading the zipped file, you can download Departure in stages using non-zipped files. To do this, download the following files to a new folder. Setup, List, and Cab1. When these have been downloaded, click on the Setup icon and installation will begin.
The Demo Software is designed to allow divers to play with Departure, but for liability reasons, the demo version does not allow full access to all of the programs. The programs will also not be fully enabled, such as allowing full time limit and depth selections, full decompression gas activation, and full altitude capabilities. Once purchased and an access code is entered, the programs will become fully enabled.
